When Things Go Right in Adoption | Francine Apy Featured on "The Adoption Roadmap" Podcast

I was recently a guest on The Adoption Roadmap Podcast with Rebecca Gruenspan, Founder of RG Adoption Consulting. I had the pleasure of chatting with Rebecca about when things go right in adoption. We dove into the importance of celebrating the positive moments in our adoption journeys, importance of building team when we get stuck and how we can all work together to create a more open, complete narrative around adoption.

This conversation explores the evolving language and norms surrounding open adoption as well as SoulFilling's mission to normalize the discussion around adoption, amplify positive stories, and reduce the stigma often associated with it. In addition, we discuss my work as an author, sharing my mother’s life story and creating a children’s book that helps explain adoption.
